We’ve been super-crazy-busy lately. Last week almost took me out! Friday and Saturday kinda blended into one looooooong day. Homeschool Co-op, played at the park with friends after, cheer practice after that, and then the game was on Saturday. Our only truly free day is Sunday. I went over our activitiy limit when I signed the girls up for cheerleading…..had no idea what I was getting myself into. The girls are having a blast though and I found out yesterday the season is over at the end of October. Yes! I signed up to be cheer mom so I could stay in the know. I’ve really got to learn to say no. I said no when the Girl Scout leader asked me if I wanted my own troop for Kiah. I guess I’m getting there. So, yea, we’re in activity overload for us at the moment. Homeschool Co-op started last Friday and I’m teaching two classes there. It was a great first day all around. Samuel even stayed in the nursery w/out me for 50 minutes! I’ve never left my 3yr old with anyone other than family or close friends. One of my friends is working the nursery, so having her know Samuel did help. I always get nervous leaving him with folks because of his severe allergies and allergic reactions. I put him in the art class with me for the last period and he loved it! For him, he’s in the nursery where he can play with trains and cars for the first half, and with me the last. Perfect.
The girls were very excited to see their old friends and meet new ones. They’re already counting down the days until Friday for week 2 of co-op.
Other news: My flowers came back and that was totally unexpected. I’m not even going to show our pathetic tomatoes. Not sure what’s going on with them. They are so tiny and still green.
Someone had this huge caterpillar on a twig at the park. I wasn’t able to get a clear picture until he put him on the tree.
Back to the grind.
