Cards Art and Gifts: Vintage Children’s Posters

Have I mentioned how much I like vintage things? I especially like the look of vintage mixed with modern pieces.
I’m slowly making this tiny apartment of ours a home by adding decor as finances allow.
Ekatrina from CardsArtandGifts sent me these lovely posters for the girls room.

vintage childrens posters

Heidi and the Goats and Clara and Heidi. They are so cute!
The girls really like them and keep asking me when I’m going to put them on their wall.
I don’t care much for the cookie cutter version of anything, so these posters are perfect, and printed on sturdy paper.
I’ll probably shop the thrift stores for the perfect frames to go with them…I want frames with a little character and charm.

This is what Ekatrina had to say about her creative process.

“I am a single mother, homeschool graduate, PhD student, blogger, and online shop owner. Fun and Baubles gives me a showcase for my handmade jewelry, as well as an excuse to poke around estate sales and second-hand shops for vintage treasures to share.
CardsArtandCrafts currently contains cards and posters featuring vintage illustrations I have cleaned up and printed out for your modern enjoyment. You can follow me on my blog to read my thoughts on the little things that make up the froth and bubble of ordinary life. You can expect to find reviews, DIY projects, and my favorite vintage books.”

Ekatrina has two Etsy shops that she has combined into this one shop called FunandBaubles. She is offering one $25 gift card to one of my lucky readers!
