These are some of our first happenings of 2014. We’ve been very relaxed around here over the last month. We’ve settled into our place for the most part. My room still needs a lot of work and I’ll get to it over time.
Ava is learning how to knit in the round. She gets easily frustrated with the straight needles, so I figured knitting in the round would boost her confidence in getting the basics down. She said she would practice with my plain yarn, but she wants wool when she’s ready for the real thing. She says wool is softer and it smells better.
Future yarn snob in the making?
Samuel fell asleep around 10pm, the girls played in their room, and I sat knitting-sipping hot chocolate-watching Grey’s Anatomy on Netflix when 2014 arrived.
