Mahogany Monday: With Friends

Mahogany Monday shows how mothers of color live a natural, mahogany lifestyle (i.e. breastfeeding pics, homeschooling/unschooling pics, babywearing pics, clothdiapering, adhering to a vegetarian/vegan diet pics, etc.)

We went to the aquarium with my friend trees all dance.  We had a really good time. The kids explored at their own pace, mama’s got to talk and catch up. Outings like these with my friends feed my soul.

We were walking the trail that leads to another building. The aquarium was about to close so we stopped here to hang out.
I don’t remember what they were all saying in this picture, but aren’t they all so cute?

  9. I wanted to ask, what do you mean by unschooling?

  10. Sophia, Unschooling is learning without being in a school setting. We don't use a curriculum. We learn through living. Visits to the Aquarium like the pictures above, Zoo, Museums, playing at the park, cooking in the kitchen with me, painting, playing at the beach. I do my best to make sure my kids have a rich environment. You can click on the page titled unschooling and you'll find several links to more about unschooling. You could also search my blog for unschooling and find all of the posts where I talk more in depth about unschooling.
