  1. I like the pattern you chose for that yarn. It is going to be so snuggly! I could spend hours on Ravelry looking at Shawl Patterns. LaLa’s Simple Shawl is another easy (and free) pattern that will work great when you have some more handspun yarn.

  2. One of my favorite shawls is the one I knit in basic garter stitch with an increase at the beginning and end of each row; I knit until my yarn was almost out and then bound off. Sometimes the simple rhythm of row after row of knit is all one needs. :)
