Look at my babies…growing so fast! We started back to homeschool co-op last month.
They were pretty excited to see their friends again. The girls are taking some cool classes this semester and I love hearing about how much fun they’re having on our drive home.
My family celebrated 35yrs of me being on this earth at the end of last month.
I’ve been knitting and trying to do a little reading…
We’ve made so many library trips lately….sometimes going weekly!
Real life books and encyclopedia books are big at the moment.
Dr Frankenstein’s Human Body Book is one of the best I’ve seen for children.
Discovery Kids Animals Visual Encyclopedia was our other favorite, and both books were checked out until someone else put them on hold and we were forced to return them.
Our new favorite library has gorgeous artwork displayed for Hispanic Heritage Month.
They’ve played at the park while I used the picnic tables as my work-space.
My dad helped us figure out how to use our telescope. He took this photo with through the lens with his cell phone one day last week.
Kiah was the most interested in viewing the moon….she kept saying “whoa!”
It was amazing!
Sweet sleep after a bath and breathing treatment.
It’s getting to be that time of year for him – I’m praying this winter isn’t as bad as last years.
Playing with my camera: is this a group of beautiful, happy kids, or what?!
And they are rarely without Mario Bros Plushies.
The Learning Journey: Match it spelling puzzles.
They were sorting them into ‘what’s alive, what drives, and other stuff’
I could complain about some of the unfair things that we’ve had to deal with in the past but having this space as my personal journal helps me to stay focused on all of the good in our life.
