Is it possible to have a long week that flies by?
That’s what this week has been like for me. Actually, the last 2-3 weeks have felt like this…very long, but we’re already in the middle of November.
In between minor colds and asthma flare-ups with Ava and Samuel, and allergy testing for Samuel(I’m still trying to wrap my head around the results, he’s a very allergic child and should basically be living in a bubble) we needed a week of relaxing at home.
We were in the 70’s last week, but this week is in the 50’s. Wednesday was the nicest and warmest day, and they had been asking to go back to this park.
Remember this view from September?
Even though most of the leaves are gone, Hills and Dales is still beautiful.
Perspective…they really are so little compared to this big, big world.
The plan was to either walk the trail to the wooden park like we did last time, or drive the car over, but they decided they were content where we were.
I have no idea what they were doing here. Maybe throwing rocks or pretending to be trees.
They were being cute, so I took the picture.
Love it when I can get pictures of her like this…
They let me get a picture with all of us.
As I was walking back to the shelter, I heard laughing and turned around to see this.
That smile! I love it.
I kept telling myself to sit down and relax, but this is how I relax when we’re out.
Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away.
