Remember when I wanted to get a start on winter knits for the kids waaaay back in May/June? Yea…life happened and here I am getting serious about it in September.
Kiah picked this yarn(the colors are very vibrant – just like her)from HauteKnitYarn and I think she’s going to love the finished product. The colors look more subdued indoors.
Finished Casting About and I really enjoyed it. Sunrise on Cedar Key is next ….can’t tell you much about it because I haven’t gotten past the 3rd page yet! I do like how the new story is being told from a different characters point of view.
Have you all read about the #soakphotochallenge for knitters on Instagram? It’s pretty amazing….I almost didn’t join because I’m already involved in a challenge, but I decided to take the leap anyway.
Ava picked up her crochet hook again and made a *really* long chain scarf for Samuel.
She said he’s always cold and this will help keep him warm. It’s really cute on him – maybe he’ll let me snap a picture of him wearing it soon.
I would get her a skein of yarn from Loopy Mango if I could afford it. She would have fun with their super chunky yarn….I want to try it too!
