Samuel had to have blood drawn today and he was not happy about it.
The temps are back in the high 80’s and it was a teensy bit humid today, so I promised the kids slushies and a park once we left the hospital.
This time we visited Thomas Cloud Park.
The kids played and I sat on one of the picnic tables for a while, looking around and thinking…thinking…thinking.
Fall will be coming sooner than I would like…hopefully we’ll have several more weeks of warm weather before fall is here to stay. It’s getting dark sooner and you can feel the chill in the air most evenings.
I’m kinda excited to break out my cowls and boots and my birthday is coming up, but I’m not quite ready to let go of Summer yet.

There’s a shift happening and it’s much more than the seasons getting ready to change.
I can’t really put it into words just yet.
I love how most of the time they’ll stand or sit in birth order. It’s so cute!
