I’m thinking this will be another at home week and next week we’ll visit a museum.
Last week was all about check ups with the pulmonologist, the dentist, and I still need to make appointments with the allergists. The holidays can take a lot of you, and I think we’ve needed this time to settle back into our somewhat regular routine.
These pictures are from the last ten days. Can you believe we’re not even a full two weeks into 2016? Already feels like its been months!
We haven’t been up to too much.
Dressing up as a princess ballerina and beading.
Attempting to build the domino run before James Bond runs through it again.
Losing his first tooth and falling asleep without me. Yes, I’m still talking and thinking about how fast he’s growing up.
A version of minecraft on their tablets.
They can play together and really enjoy it.
There’s also been Netflix, Starfall, Animal Jam, Skyping with friends, using the microscope, puzzles, superhero and petshop play. Lots of Wii U play, specifically Mari Kart 8 online, so they can play live with other people. Mario 3D World(I’m not too bad at it)Super Mario Maker, which is one of the cutest and most creative games.
A little Animal Crossing, Paper Mario, and lots of Just Dance.
Checking out our new Usborne books on bugs, space, and the human body.
It finally snowed yesterday!
Looked like a mini winter wonderland out there. So pretty.
I’ve been trying to catch up on housework, but feel like I’m not even making a dent in what needs to be done, I just can’t keep up! I have at least 2-3 loads of laundry in baskets in my room. Then there’s the overflowing basket in the laundry room that needs to be washed. I know I’m not the only mom who will throw clothes back into the dryer to get the wrinkles out. I do it with the intention of folding the clothes and putting them away. The living room, girls room, and toy room….you ever walk into a room to clean it and then walk right back out because you can’t decide where to start? Dishes keep magically appearing in the sink no matter how many times I wash them.
There’s a bit of what’s been going on around here.
What have you been up to?
