I have finally accepted that Fall is here, sometimes.
The temps are cooler, more and more leaves are falling, and I’ve seen Christmas decorations out in some stores.
I’m looking forward to hot chocolate or chocolate flavored coffee, yum!
Oh, and I get to wear my favorite fall fashion…boots and cowls, just as soon as our Indian Summer is over.

Samuel Pony Ride

About two weeks ago I met Dee at the Farmers Market Fall Festival. The weather was perfect! Warm, sunny skies.
The temps dropped about 20 degrees after several hours, but that was near closing time and we ready to go anyway.

This photo of all the kids against the barn is my favorite. That’s the type of photo that belongs in an album.
Do people make actual hold-it-in-your-hand albums anymore?

Kid and a Red Barn Spider Pumpkins

Last weekend we took a trip down to the ocean front with my parents and had another great weekend adventure with perfect weather.

My dad rented one of those family bikes…and they’re much harder to peddle than you might think!

They had horseback riding on the beach.
I joked that it was probably $50/hr to ride and later found out that it’s $50 for 30mins and $75 for the hour!

You can’t go down to the ocean front without stopping to see King Neptune.

Then we peddled back to the shop and walked down to hang out at Grommet Island.

We were able to watch people surf, fish, catch crabs, and relax a little while the kids play.
I was not as relaxed as I normally would’ve been….that’s what watching too much Criminal Minds on Netflix gets me.

And I know I say this whenever I post beach pics…but I will never get tired of this view.
It’s always breathtaking no matter how many times I see it.
