What’s Your Story?

We all have one. My story is messy, beautiful, and far from done.

I  especially love the ones that encourage, motivate, and inspire.
One  of the things I’ve learned this year that has really stuck with me, sharing my story.
At times I’ve felt embarrassed and ashamed of my story, but I’m learning that everything that has happened to me up to this point has made me who I am, and I’m becoming quite fond of this woman.

What’s Your Story?

Have you survived Cancer? Did you lose a child, or spouse? Are you healing from a toxic relationship?
Parenting a child with special needs? Are you a parent with special needs? Dealing with depression?
Are you healing by parenting your children the way you wish you had been?
Job loss? Relocating? New to Homeschooling? Starting a new business? Going through a divorce? Going back to work? Deciding to stay home?

I could go on and on, my point is no matter your story, it’s important, and you can touch others by sharing it.
Writing has been very therapeutic for me and I enjoy being able to look back over years/months to live moments again, or see how far I’ve come when I thought for sure that things would never turn around.

I would love for you to join me every Monday starting January 5th.
My hope is that we’re able to create a community of mothers who encourage and inspire in sharing our stories.
I’ll create a link up so it’s easy to visit other blogs.
